About Dr. Karen Ly

To diagnose and treat your skin issues, Dr. Karen Ly brings a holistic perspective to patient care, taking into consideration individual preferences, cultural and lifestyle factors. Aside from annual skin cancer screenings, conditions such as acne, dermatitis, skin infections, psoriasis, nail/hair issues, and STDs can all be addressed. She cares for adult and pediatric patients, and stays at the forefront of trends in medical and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Ly is skilled in the use of a wide range of anti-aging therapies: chemical peels customized to your skin type and season; Clear+Brilliant, a gentle laser therapy to rejuvenate and re-texturize skin; Ultherapy for facial lifting/contouring; Microneedling with Plasma to reverse signs of aging 100% naturally; Moxi + BBL to to remove evidence of sun damage; and injectables (Botox, Juvederm, Restylane, and others) to banish wrinkles and and help patients reflect a youthful mood without any change in facial structure.
Dr. Ly graduated UCLA with a B.A. in Global Studies. She received her MD from Wayne State University School of Medicine. After returning to UCLA for her internship, she completed her Dermatology residency at Dartmouth, where she was Chief Resident. Additionally, she recently completed a yearlong cosmetic fellowship and led multiple clinical trials in exosomes, cellulite, and rejuvenation.
