“I knew that not every psychiatrist would fit with you but Karen was a good fit for me. My rating might be high because of this. I was able to be myself and she asked the questions that she needed to to get to some of my issues. We're going to get back at it and tackle this.”

My boyfriend had been pushing me to talk to a doctor about different anti-depressants and talk therapy. I have always been quite anxious about doing so, but I have to say that after one talk with Dr. Schaaf, I am so grateful I got the push to make an appointment. I have never felt so understood and listened to like I have by Dr. Schaaf. I am actually looking forward to our next call and I feel like im on to a great start. Her spirit is so warm and inviting. She listens and provides feedback that really makes you know she heard what you were saying. My one zoom call so far provided a plan for my medication usage and alternatives for combating my problems in my daily life. I cannot recommend Dr. Schaaf enough. You are in good hands with her.

Karen Schaaf NP is a practitioner I highly recommend. Besides being trained in family practice she also is among a select few NP's that have recieved additional training and accreditation in mental health. Karen is attentive, intellegent, kind, caring, and listens to her patients. As my primary care provider, Karen has always reponded to my questions and needs quickly and with great care and consideration. On days that I had in-person appointments whe arrived on time and gave me her undivided attention spending additional time with me when needed.
