About Dr. Kari Schmidt
Dr. Kari Schmidt has been with HealthSource since 2012 and is the proud owner of HealthSource of Chicago – Wicker Park and HealthSource of Downtown Mokena. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and German from Butler University and continued on to Logan University where she earned her Masters’ in Sports Rehabilitation and Science and a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine. She spends her free time traveling, spending time with her family, and playing sports, but mostly spoiling her dog, Binkley, aka the Employee of the Month. Patient care is her top priority and she utilizes multiple techniques to treat each patient individually. “I want all of my patients to live a healthy and happy life, that’s my only goal!” She practices Diversified, Activator, ART, Logan Basic, SOT, and Drop Table Techniques. Dr. Kari originally became a chiropractor because she had daily headaches. She found out that her headaches was actually referral pain from her jaw, so she specializes in treating TMJ to help others live a headache free life.

Dr Kari and her staff are amazing. Always cheerful and happy to see you . They make you feel at home . Even her puppies greet you at the door for an ear scratch . Your always greeted with a smile . Dr.Kari also gives a great adjustment and is knowledgeable about all products and will also take he time to show you stretching techniques. I can' t recommended her enough ! You wont regret giving them a try , the oly regret you'll have is not trying them out . So get Crackn'

Dr. Kari, HealthSource Mokena, is the best. She’s very knowledgeable and provides treatment options not offered at other local chiropractic offices - decompression, physical therapy, laser therapy.
Dr. Kari listens to your concerns before every appointment and follows up with appropriate treatment. I’ve been a patient for close to a year and have improved dramatically under her care.
The office staff at HealthSource has always been top notch as well - friendly, caring and professional.

There was no wait when I came in for my appointment. Dr. Kari gave me an awesome adjustment. She is super easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. The office was clean and the staff were extremely friendly. I would recommend coming here!

Dr Kari has helped me tremendously with my pain! I've got spine and hip issues, and she's been able to help relieve that pain with various chiropractic treatments. She's also very positive and supportive, which makes the visit all that much more pleasant. I can't recommend her enough!

We get our Chiropractic care here. Adjustments, PT, Spinal Decompression and Laser. Sometimes rotate through these. I get multiple types of adjustments, including my hips, ankles/feet and full spine. Definitively recommend them.
