About Karima Brahim
Karima Brahim was born in Puerto Rico and grew up in Southern New Hampshire. She attended Boston University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Biology with minors in Public Health and Spanish. After graduation, she worked for NEDA as a patient care coordinator while preparing for PA school. She then received her Master of Medical Science degree from Tufts University. Karima spent her first few years after graduation practicing in Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care before returning to her original passion—Dermatology. She is certified to perform Botox and dermal fillers. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and visiting the Cape.

The PA was great. The wait times for calls to the office is ridiculous. I waited 30minutes returning a call to provide my insurance information that I had already submitted online. When I arrived to the appointment the office staff was cold. The wait was long to be called in. Once I was in the medical assistant and the PA were both nice, and I was seen promptly and didn't wait long in the room. Every call to the office I have made has had long wait times and staff seemed annoyed. Called to change pharmacy because the pharmacy I selected was closed and they said it would take 24-48 hours to change the pharmacy information. This was my first time at this practice. I will go back because the experience with provider did go well. Maybe they are tired and overwhelmed due to Pandemic and high volumes.

The office never called back to confirm the date after I left a message on their voice mailbox to reschedule 48hours before the initially scheduled date.
It was a follow-up appointment that was supposed to give me the solution to the problems I've been having since the first appointment - the original Dermatologist I saw for my issue has left the practice.
Essentially, it was poor communication throughout the practice, affecting patient care.
