My passion for psychiatry and the hard-working examples set by my parents are my biggest motivators in pursuing a degree in nursing. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Kennesaw State University and my Master's in Nursing from the University of Alabama. I have worked with patients from different backgrounds, ages, and with a variety of mental disorders. I strongly believe that each patient is unique and capable of making decisions. As a provider, combining evidence-based practice, clinical guidelines, and the patients' needs is my principle in delivering maximum care.

I've been seeing Karina Lydia for several months now and I feel like I really gave her a chance. She is very blunt, which can be good sometimes and other times is horrible. One time she actually made me cry. She is a very negative person, constantly focused on all the aspects where I am not doing well and never giving me credit for the aspects where I am improving. She is very stubborn and doesn't listen to my feedback or care about my concerns. I am looking for a new provider now because I am very unhappy. I would strongly urge anyone I know to pick a different doctor!
