About Kasie Cassell
Kasie has over 20 years of diverse healthcare experience and has dedicated the past 10 years of her career on her passion for women's mental health, with a unique focus on the treatment of perinatal and postpartum mothers. She holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) and is a dual licensed, board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). In 2020, she completed her Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C). Her diverse experience spans inpatient, partial hospitalization, outpatient care, and interventional treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato. Kasie actively contributes to the mental health community as a Board of Trustees Member at Stone Springs Hospital since January 2023.

She specializes in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) and has over a decade of experience addressing various mental health needs in women, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, and PMDD.
Kasie graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2004. She served as an Active Duty RN and Captain at the United States Air Force Academy. After her military service, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on Nursing Education from George Mason University in 2012. She further advanced her education at the University of Colorado, obtaining a WHNP Post Master’s Certificate in 2014, and a PMHNP Post Master’s Certificate from Drexel University in 2018. In 2023, she completed her DNP at Simmons University, focusing her dissertation on the mental health crisis for pregnant and postpartum mothers and strategies to overcome treatment barriers.
