My name is Katie Farley, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with over 14 years of nursing experience. I earned my Master's in Family Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Walden University. Throughout my career, I have worked in diverse settings including inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, medical oncology, med-surg, surgery, infusion therapy, and nurse navigation. In every nursing role, I have witnessed the profound impact mental health has on patients' overall well-being. This inspired me to become a PMHNP, driven by my passion for the transformative power of mental health care.
I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults living with mood disorders (depression and bipolar), anxiety, ADHD, psychosis, and those navigating difficult trauma and life stressors. While my primary focus is medication management, I also incorporate supportive and humanistic psychotherapeutic techniques during appointments. I often advocate for and refer patients to additional treatment modalities such as individual therapy, EMDR, biofeedback, ketamine, yoga, and more to maximize benefits and improve outcomes.
I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental, and empathetic atmosphere where patients feel comfortable and at ease. As a provider, my goal is to truly listen and understand what matters most to my patients so that together we can develop collaborative, individualized, and evidence-based goals of care that guide them toward becoming their best selves.

I was nervous based on past experience but she made it so easy to talk and I didn’t even end the appointment upset like I have in the past. I feel really good having taken action to get the help I need and she was very good at reading between the lines and knowing exactly how to start my plan of care. I look forward to seeing her again after my first month follow up, hopefully as the new and improved version of me that I am meant to be.

Katelin was great. I had a lot of concerns and some complex issues going on that she was able to help me out with very quickly. I felt comfortable as she provided a safe space for me to talk about some of my issues. She was a great listener and had great knowledge, awareness and excellent attention to detail. Overall very pleased and wish I had reached out along time ago. It’s never too late to make changes and become a better version of yourself. If you’re experiencing issues and need someone to help guide you in whatever direction you need to be going, Katelin is amazing. I even have a portal through the app with texting available for any concerns or questions and she was more than happy to get back with me very quickly.
Psychiatric issues are tough, and although I felt I was fine on my own, I’m very fortunate to have my wife behind me pushing me to seek help.
Thanks Katelin for being there for me and creating a safe space to feel heard and understood.
