About Dr. Katherine Connors

Dr. Connors is nationally recognized for her clinical excellence, research contributions, and commitment to advancing the field of hand surgery. Dr. Connors received her Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from the Georgetown University School of Human Science and her Doctor of Medicine, cum laude, from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. While in medical school, Dr. Connors was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She then completed her orthopedic surgery residency at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, where she was named Orthopedic Resident of the Year. Dr. Connors subsequently obtained advanced training through the Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship at Brown University Warren Alpert Medical School, where she worked with world-renowned hand and upper extremity surgeons. As a native Staten Islander, Dr. Connors is grateful for the opportunity to treat members of her local community. She is passionate about advocating for equitable and accessible care. Dr. Connors also has a special interest in teaching orthopedic residents and mentoring young women interested in careers in orthopedics. When she isn’t taking care of patients, Dr. Connors enjoys yoga, knitting, and spending time with her family at the beach.
