Katherine is a warm and compassionate, board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over eight years of experience supporting patients through all stages of life. She began her healthcare journey in the intensive care unit, building a strong foundation in acute critical care, before discovering her passion in women’s health.
Katherine’s time as a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Sibley Memorial Hospital shaped her deep understanding of the birthing process—not just clinically, but emotionally and physically. Katherine has supported countless women through labor and birth, and she brings that same calm, confident presence to every patient she sees. She understands that pregnancy and childbirth are deeply personal experiences, and she is committed to providing care that is both empowering and grounded in trust.
Katherine has also pursued additional training in menopause, including hormone therapy and non-hormonal symptom management.
Outside the clinic, Katherine enjoys life in Washington, DC, with her husband Tony, their two young sons, and their two little dogs. Katherine’s life is busy and full of joy and she brings that same energy into her work with patients every day.

Katherine Robbins was an absolutely wonderful provider. I was really nervous about pain during my Kyleena IUD insertion, but she explained all of my options in detail at my consultation and I came to the appointment feeling very prepared. I took ibuprofen and tylenol, and was prescribed an ativan for that morning. As we started, she was gentle, kind, and encouraging, letting me play music and creating a warm atmosphere. She gave me a lidocaine block for my cervix and explained every step of the procedure, listening to my needs and answering every question. The worst pain I felt was like 30 seconds of a bad period cramp during the actual insertion. I had been so scared to get my IUD because of all the horror stories, but she changed what could’ve been a scary experience into a very positive one.
