What should a new client know about working with you?

DISCLAIMER: We are not able to accept Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time. My path to becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner began with helping a family member navigate mental health challenges in a society that stigmatizes mental health and in a world with few quality mental health support options. I also dealt with my own mental health challenges, which fostered my deep interest in this field. These experiences allow me to bring a unique perspective grounded in nursing, diverse clinical experience, and genuine connection with each patient to every encounter.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Together, we'll create a safe and supportive environment where you feel comfortable exploring your mental health. I use evidence-based medication management and therapeutic techniques to help you better understand what you're experiencing, improve your symptoms, and work toward your personal goals. Collaboration and compassion guide my style, and I tailor my approach to your unique needs, experiences, and treatment goals. While medication management is a core part of my practice, I'm passionate about including you in decision-making and exploring non-pharmacological and alternative therapies alongside standard treatment, whenever they make sense for you.
