About Dr. Kathleen Byrne

I have always loved working with children and knew I wanted to dedicate my life and career to helping children and families. When I started as a volunteer in a pediatric ward at a hospital, I knew this was the right fit for me. I earned my Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George's University School of Medicine, which further prepared me to serve my patients with knowledge and compassion. What I love most about pediatrics, apart from helping children, is getting to know different families and guiding them in raising healthy and happy kids. I connect with my patients by putting myself in their shoes and using effective communication to explain things clearly. Outside of the office, I enjoy hiking, jogging with my husband, cooking, trying new restaurants, reading, and watching movies. My advice to patients is to remember that taking care of your mind is just as important as your body, and not to worry too much about the small things in life.
