“My intake meeting with Katie was amazing! I would describe her as very kind, warm, and conversational (personally, this is very important to me). She is also incredible responsive to emails or texts, which helps relieve my stress since I usually have a lot of follow-up questions about stuff.
I liked my previous psychiatrist a lot, but Katie was even more welcoming and understanding. Sometimes doctors or nurses feel too serious to me and it makes me more nervous. I have a lot of anxiety when doing these types of appointments, but she made me feel very comfortable.
In the past, I feel like my previous psychiatrist didn't always ask me enough questions. Katie took the time to ask a lot of questions before thinking about any potential diagnoses and potential medications to use if needed. This made me much more comfortable and confident in the conclusions since I felt like they were grounded on my actual input not just a quick one-sided judgement decision.
I am really happy I found her!”
