About Dr. Kathleen Soe
Dr. Soe, a dermatologic surgeon and board certified dermatologist, established Virginia Street Dermatology in 2004. She is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her internship and residency were completed at Sun Coast Hospital. She received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the University of South Florida. Dr. Soe is affiliated with Mease Dunedin, Mease Countryside and Helen Ellis Hospital.
Dr. Soe values her patients, staff and her family. Dermatology is her passion. A long time resident of Pinellas County, Dr. Soe is excited to care for her community.

I would not go back. While the Doctor was extremely nice. She did not examine me at all which was the reason I went there. Having various marks and lumps on my body she just assumed I was speaking about allergy which she said was too hard to pin down. My belief is she thought because of my age it was a waste of time.

I went in to get a growth removed from my nose. Doctor Soe told me she wouldn’t remove it because it would just end up coming back eventually. I said I didn’t care and I would like it removed and she said “I’m not going to do that” and nobody but me notices the growth. I also had her check a freckle that is getting darker and larger on my stomach after telling her about my family history with melanoma. She took one look at it and said I’m fine since I’m young. I walked away from this appointment absolutely baffled by how patronizing and unwilling Dr. Soe was to listen.
