About Kathleen Wagner
Katie grew up in Michigan and received her Bachelor of Nursing degree from the University of Michigan. She began her nursing career working as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse at Children’s Hospital in Chicago. After three years, Katie found NICU nursing to be both mentally stimulating and emotionally draining, which led her to try labor and delivery nursing at Northwestern Memorial Hospital—an experience she fell in love with! After working in labor and delivery for three years, she decided to go back to school to become a nurse-midwife. Katie and her husband moved to Washington, DC, where she earned her Master’s in Midwifery from Georgetown University. Upon graduating, they relocated to Denver, and Katie has been a nurse-midwife since 2005. She believes having a child is a life-changing experience and considers herself very lucky to work with women and families during this pivotal time.

We really enjoyed our appointment with Dr. Wagner and are looking forward to getting to know the rest of the providers as well! Everyone was very friendly and everything ran smoothly.
The only down side was that two of the elevators were down in their building. However, before my appointment they let me know and encouraged me to factor in additional time for getting up to their floor. A temporary problem!

I included the reason for my appointment and the office was not aware or informed of the need for a new IUD so it couldn’t be done. It was a waste of time.

Easy to book and find a doctor that takes my insurance. So much easier than going through insurance to find a provider for me. The doctors office called less than two days after booking to confirm booking and what my visit was for. Had great luck on my first time finding an amazing doctor that I will definitely recommend and go back to myself. Surprised to see that I can make dental and vision appointments too!
