Following graduation she worked for A practice out of North Fulton hospital and then joined CIMA in 2011. As a single teen mom she knows the challenges and barriers that young moms face and became a midwife to empower women to take control of their health and encourage them down a path of success for themselves and their families. “Everyday it remains a miracle to welcome babies into the world. Pregnancy and childbirth can be a very vulnerable time for women and as a provider I try to be sensitive to each patients needs and concerns. I believe in open communication to make every visit an opportunity for patients to participate in their care. I am honored to be apart of such a special time in the lives of women and their families I look forward to the opportunity to serve you.”

I had a great experience. Everyone took really good care of me.

I loved the staff. The nurses were friendly and treated me very well. However, Kathryn talked to me and treated me like I was a burden to her. I was there for my FIRST OB appointment and was so nervous and anxious to meet baby. But, since it was the day before Thanksgiving, I was seen as an inconvenience. I left feeling so sad and disappointed. I was talked down to, and Kathryn's bedside manner needed work. It felt like she lectured me, and my husband was with me and thought the same thing. This is our first, so we don't know what's going on. I wanted to know more about my pregnancy, not to be lectured or talked down to about a disease I have that has made my life horrible for 15+ years. I left crying. I just hope she doesn't do this to others in any capacity. No one deserves to feel that way.
