About Kathryn Thompson
Katy Thompson, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with Preferred Dermatology Partners, seeing patients at our Allen, Greenville, and Anna locations. She diagnoses and treats a wide range of dermatologic conditions, including acne, rashes, and skin cancer, and provides comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals of all ages.
Katy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from the University of Kansas and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. She has trained closely with Matthew Bruno, PA-C, gaining extensive experience in medical dermatology, and has earned her Dermatology Diplomate Fellowship through the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Katy is known for her thorough, compassionate approach and commitment to high-quality dermatologic care.

The dr I saw was Kathryn she was fine. She listened to my daughter’s concerns and explained the routine. However the only thing I did not like was that there was no copy of routine that she was suppose to follow was given to my 13 yr old that she asked to follow. I had to ask her assistant to write it on a piece of paper.
