“The office space is kind of odd - they share space with a document prep office and you have to walk through the prep office to get to the podiatrist. But the lady at the desk was very nice and I was seen on time. The doctor seemed knowledgeable and didn’t rush. I’d go back. ”

About Dr. Kathy Grossos
Dr. Kathy Grossos graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Honors College at Stony Brook University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. She then went on to complete her doctorate degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Following her education, she then completed a foot and ankle certification at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Grossos then completed two year long wound care fellowships at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center and at Coney Island Hospital where she handled challenging diabetic wounds and performed limb salvage procedures.
Dr. Kathy Grossos is a fellowship trained, board certified podiatrist with interests in wound care and sports medicine. Dr. Grossos treats a variety of foot and ankle disorders including injuries, heel pain, toenail disorders, fractures, wounds and dermatologic lesions. Dr. Grossos is dedicated to treating her patients with a kind and friendly demeanor. She will always take the time to explain everything in a simple way and provide multiple options for treatment. Dr. Grossos and her team were absolutely fantastic. I was able to secure an immediate appointment which was conducted on time and with an easy online form completion process. I felt listened to, supported, and well cared for throughout the experience. Dr. Grossos is kind, a thoughtful communicator, deeply knowledgeable, responsive, and completes examinations and treatments with great skill and sensitivity to patient comfort. Dr. Grossos was able to remove a nearly microscopic piece of glass embedded in my heel that was making movement, particularly more active engagement with my young children painful. I'd been told at an urgent care site the day prior that no glass was present, and that I should simply soak my heel in warm water, bandage the puncture site, and monitor it for infection. Dr. Grossos completed a more comprehensive exam, offered multiple treatment options, and genuinely seemed as determined as I was to resolve my discomfort. I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you again!

It was a very pleasant experience. The staff is friendly and I didn't have to wait more than a few minutes to see the doctor, who was great. She answered all of my questions and has a wonderful bedside manner. She was able to fix the problem, and I will definitely see her again if I ever have any other issues with my feet.

Best foot doc ever! She explained everything she was doing as well as the diagnosis. She showed real care and empathy but was also crystal clear about pain/what you can expect during the procedure and recovery. Trying to think of a reason to go back here :)

Very attentive and helpful. Dr Grossos addressed my history and current concerns in a knowledgeable and clear way I understood as a non-medical person. She took the time to understand my lifestyle and complaints before making assessment/recommendations. I didn’t feel like I was rushed in/out of the office visit, but in a good way.l! The team was helpful and on time for the appointment. Office location is very close to the train. Overall I definitely recommend!!

I saw 2 other podiatrists before I saw Dr. Grossos. The other podiatrists just looked at my feet (hardly touched my feet) and gave me some suggestions. Dr. Grossos, on the other hand, took the time to take x-rays, gave me some E-stim, bandaged them, and gave me exercises. She was super warm, friendly, and highly recommended!

I have been very pleased with Dr. Grossos and she has a very good "bedside manner." But, the office is not in any way pleasant. You have to walk through other offices in a storefront to get to the doctors offices. The place is very dark, the equipment quite antiquated and overall depressing to me. If Dr. Grossos wasn't as helpful and her staff not as friendly, I would have never gone back.
