Getting to know Kathy Mucha

When my father fell ill, I saw firsthand the power of compassionate care—it changed my life. After years in the neuro ICU caring for patients facing profound physical and emotional struggles, I knew psychiatry was my calling. Today, as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I offer that same compassion to teens and adults facing ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, grief, and many other mood disorders. My approach is holistic, deeply personal, and focused entirely on your story and your healing journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My practice emphasizes thoughtful listening and collaborative planning. Together, we'll create personalized treatment plans blending medication management with supportive therapy techniques like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). My goal is always to empower you, ensuring your voice guides every step we take.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Connecting virtually through Legion Health’s secure telehealth platform makes getting started simple and convenient. Whether you're managing day-to-day anxiety, depression, or ADHD, or navigating deeper emotional struggles, I’m here to help you find clarity, stability, and renewed optimism—one compassionate step at a time.
