About Dr. Katie Burden-Greer

Katie Burden-Greer, MD is double Board Certified in both Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine. After completing her Bachelor’s Degree at East Central University she earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2011. She completed her residency at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL where she trained to care for patients of all ages and backgrounds. In 2022 and 2023 she completed additional training in the management of the diseases of obesity and overweight. Dr. Burden-Greer understands the challenges that come with trying to obtain a healthy weight and is passionate about helping patients reach their goals. Dr BG has extensive experience in caring for patients across many different settings. She has worked in emergency departments, clinics, and was the Chief of Inpatient Medicine at Chickasaw Nation through the COVID-19 pandemic managing patients in the acute care floor and ICU. When not taking care of patients, Dr. Burden-Greer can be found spending time with family and friends. She enjoys being Dr Aunt KK to her MANY nieces and nephews. She and her husband also have an adventurous spirit and enjoy being outdoors, gardening, floristry, traveling, scuba diving, and taking care of their cattle and bison ranch.
