"Hello!
My name is Katie Lewinski RD, CDCES, LD. I have been a dietitian for the last 5.5 years and I have spent a majority of that time working in endocrinology clinics and being the lead dietitian for a diabetes and nutrition education center, as well as, a bariatric center. I have vast experience working with patients who have been diagnosed with all forms of diabetes (pre diabetes, type 1, type 2, gestational, LADA, MODY), thyroid disorders, PCOS, weight management, metabolic syndrome, pre/post op bariatric surgery, and weight loss medications. I also have advanced knowledge on diabetes technology; including continuous glucose monitoring systems and insulin pumps. "My approach to care is to make sure you feel comfortable, in a judgement-free environment, where we will collaborate together to reach your goals while being able to sustain lifestyle changes long term. I am here to support you on your wellness journey! At your first session, we will review your detailed nutrition & health history, get to know each other, and establish a plan for you to reach your goals! By the end of the session you will feel empowered and confident, and have a clear understanding of how you are going to reach your goals!
