About Katie Shouppe
Katie and her husband Victor are the founders of Ohana Family Practice, 2023. Katie and Victor have been residents of Brevard County for nearly 40 years. They have raised two wonderful children who have jumped in whole heartedly to support Ohana Family Practice. Katie and Victor together knew they had the ability to reach Brevard County in a greater measure than their current careers allotted them to do. With Faith and a Dream they overcame obstacles and were connected with the right people that saw their dream and helped make it a reality. It’s not by coincidence that their practice is located in Viera Florida “The City Of Faith”.
Katie brings a passion for people, love for God and provides compassionate care for those dealing with acute or chronic illnesses.
Katie completed her graduate studies at Florida Atlantic University, Christine Lynn College of Nursing. She graduated with Honors in 2017. She has had the privilege of providing humanitarian medical care to the countries of Guatemala and Honduras.
She has a diverse background in Acute and Chronic management of Orthopedics, Family Medicine, Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine. We look forward to this Journey to Wellness together.

Today was my first time at this office due to other doctors dropping me because of my insurance , she was very nice and consoled me with the loss of my Husband . Very nice office friendly staff and Dr. Shouppe is kind, good listener, overall good experience. I’ve been seen almost immediately every visit. I’ve moved a town over but still make the drive because it’s hard to find a good primary like her that makes you feel heard about issues.

I took the whole family for annual physicals (2 adults, 2 teens). Overall, it was a great experience! The calendar is much more flexible than other providers, and there are evening (after work) appointments available. The office is clean, and everyone is very friendly. There was a very short wait time for a 3 p.m. appointment.

10/10 highly recommend this doctor and the office. Dr. Shouppe was extremely patient, kind, and helpful when I explained my concerns. She also gave me referrals to specialists that I had hoped to see. She is a great listener and she seems to genuinely care about her patients and her practice. I am going to see her again next month and will continue to use this office as my primary doctor’s office. The office space itself is intimate and nicely decorated, and all of the staff were friendly. And the nurse who drew my blood was very professional and she made it quick and painless. New to area and looking for a new provider. However with a sick kiddo this quickly expedited our need (after two urgent care visits and no improvement - great care as well). Katie and her team are fantastic. Listened to our concerns and to our daughter. Ordered diagnostic tests and quickly communicated results via phone. Even stayed open late when she required additional treatment based upon her chest x-ray. So appreciative and relieved as we finally have a kiddo feeling much better. And now have an established family provider.

Katie Shouppe was great! She saw my right away and wrote a referral for a podiatrist. I feel grateful to have seen the podiatrist, Coastal Sole & Ankle the very same day! I actually was able to have toenail surgery, which resolved my problem. As far as ZocDoc is concerned, the search criteria by ailment made this process of finding a provider confusing. Better to have the drop down menu search by provider specialty, not by ailment. Fortunately, this is a story with a happy ending! Now Im elevating a swollen toe, but the infection is gone for good! I’m glad to know I can use K. Shouppe’s services for referrals and also for upcoming lab work , which she informed me of during our visit. Awesome! 5 star rating. Thanks for letting me share.

Wonderful and clean atmosphere with a coffee machine in case any one needs it. Very very friendly staff and I got to see the doctor very quickly. I felt like she listened to my issues and concerns without any push back. With my past experience with doctors I expected some heavy questioning, but there was none of that at all, just listening and trying to get a better idea of the concerns I’ve had. I would highly recommend going here as I will continue to come here.
