My journey in this field is fueled by a personal connection to the challenges of mental health, having grown up with loved ones who faced depression and anxiety. This firsthand experience drives me to not just treat symptoms but to understand and address the root causes of mental health issues.
What sets me apart is my genuine care and attention to each patient. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical College of Georgia, and with years of experience and extensive training in psychiatry, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every interaction.
More than just a job, psychiatry is my passion and mission. I am dedicated to helping you not only alleviate symptoms but also to empower you to live a fulfilling and meaningful life. What is your typical process for working with clients?
Our assessments delve into your mental health history, current symptoms, and overall wellness. We consider lifestyle factors and stressors. From mindfulness and nutrition to discussing potential medication needs, we tailor recommendations to suit you. During f/u sessions, we check in on your progress since your last evaluation, ensuring that our approach continues to meet your unique needs. We value collaborative discussions about any adjustments needed in your treatment plan.
