Katrina Sobecky, RDN, RD

Dietitian
IL
Katrina enjoys working with weight loss, diabetes, and pre-diabetes clients who are ready to ditch the diet mentality, be done with viewing food as good or bad, and instead focus on how food choices make their mind and body feel. Lasting success in health comes from gradual, meaningful, and intuitive changes like these. Katrina will walk beside you as she helps you build a new lifestyle, one meal at a time. A graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor's in Dietetics, Katrina's goal is to have you leave each session feeling knowledgeable and uplifted, with clear goals to work on the following week. You will feel confident in achieving these goals because your appointments will include brainstorming and building a plan designed to set you up for success. When setbacks arise-as they naturally do-Katrina will remind you that there is no such thing as perfection, only progress. She believes everyone is capable of positive change and strives to meet clients where they are to adopt healthy habits that make sense for them. Once a small habit change is established, Katrina will help you use that momentum to work toward another change, celebrating the benefits as you move onwards and upwards. Katrina lives in rural Texas and enjoys spending time with family, in nature, and with Bible study. She is happy to incorporate biblical concepts and prayer into your sessions if desired. Some of Katrina's favorite foods are tacos, smoothies, and dark chocolate-because, of course, she believes all things can be enjoyed in moderation. Note: Meetings with Katrina will be audio-only unless the patient requests video format.
