Dr. Ahmad has been working in the mental health field for the last 19 years. He is Board Certified in Addiction Medicine with additional fellowship training in Addiction Psychiatry and has a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. He is a general adult Psychiatrist and enjoys seeing patients 18 years of age and older.

Dr. Ahmad was incredibly rude and condescending in our second and last appointment. I was so shocked and decided to end that appointment within 8 minutes. I realized very quickly that he cared more about being "right" and would not listen when I told him that I felt like he was dismissing my confusion/concerns.
For Dr. Ahmad: If a client states they are confused, explain it to them again in a kind and patient manner. Do not accuse them of not listening and control your tone. Your behavior was so unprofessional.

I would definitely not recommend this doctor if you need a psychiatrist that listens to you. I opened up about very personal things and wanted help from a professional but he just doesn't listen. Only asked questions, only wanted yes or no answers with no context. I tried to explain what I'm always struggling and dealing with with, he told me that I talk in circles. I felt much worse after talking to him for an hour. No listening, no talking. He also asked me if anyone else has told me that I talk or over share my thoughts. I said, no, no one has ever told me that. He said that he's surprised. Very unprofessional. Maybe I got him on a bad day but I have productive conversations with my primary physician that is not a psychiatrist. Dr Ahmad is. Very very poor bedside manner.
