Getting to know Keisha Malone

Hi there, I’m Keisha Malone. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing medication management for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and ADHD. My goal is to help you feel more stable, clearer, and more in control of your day-to-day life. I understand how culture, stress, and life experiences impact mental health. For many people, especially those who are used to “pushing through” or carrying a lot for others, mental health concerns are often overlooked until they become overwhelming. You may be functioning on the outside...but internally, you feel exhausted, anxious, or disconnected. This is a space where you can be honest about that. I work with adults who are navigating high levels of stress, responsibility, and expectation, yet may be silently struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, or emotional overwhelm. Many of my patients are: -High-functioning professionals who feel mentally exhausted behind the scenes -Individuals who have felt misunderstood, misdiagnosed, or unheard in previous care -Those seeking a provider who offers not only clinical expertise, but cultural awareness and genuine understanding I am especially passionate about providing care for individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those who value working with a provider who understands both the clinical and cultural nuances of mental health. If you’ve ever felt like you had to “push through” instead of being supported, this space was created for you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is genuine, supportive, and collaborative. I'm not just treating symptoms, we’re looking at the full picture. That includes your daily stressors, your responsibilities, your environment, and how everything is showing up in your mental health. Together, we create a plan that is realistic, effective, and tailored specifically to you. I believe in being both thorough and practical. That means: -Clear, honest conversations about medication -Consistent follow-up and monitoring -A balanced approach If appropriate, I prescribe and manage medications, always with a strong focus on safety and long-term outcomes.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During your intake, we will: -Discuss symptoms, history, and current challenges -Identify what’s working and what’s not -Create a personalized treatment plan -Explore medication options (if appropriate) -Talk through goals and expectations You’ll never feel rushed. My style is conversational, supportive, and very human.
