“From the moment I walked into Dr. Blechman’s office everyone was welcoming, respectful, and showed me nothing but over the top client service (the goodies on the table were so tempting.) Alina was heaven sent and made my consultation process less stressful, she walks you through everything you need to know from A to Z. I am so excited that I have chosen Dr. Blechman for my breast augmentation surgery I am so nervous but so excited at the same time I will definitely do an update. I am a trans woman and if you are looking for a LGBTQ friendly staff and doctor this is the place to go where they keep it 100% real and realistic about all services and procedures they offer...you’ll thank me later.”

Keith M. Blechman, M.D. is a plastic, cosmetic,and reconstructive surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. His practice offers excellence and compassion in cosmetic surgery of the face, breast and body, as well as state-of-the-art reconstructive procedures for breast cancer, skin cancer, and traumatic injuries. Dr. Blechman provides the highest quality care and offers the most cutting-edge techniques. Dr. Blechman completed his plastic surgery residency at New York University Medical Center and his reconstructive microsurgery fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center. I can’t compliment enough. I’m an ER nurse (was an OR nurse for years) and though I believe RN’s and MD’s should always work as a team. I also know in some way or other I am likely not the easiest patient.
He didn’t let that phase him.
Talked to me in (my preferred) medical/surgical speak.
He keeps a sense of humor as needed with me.
And in NO way behaved in a rushed manner.
His office mgr Alina is very knowledgeable also.
AND quite helpful.
As a terrific surgeon I used to know once told me: it’s not only normal to be nervous facing any surgery~I’d be worried if you had zero apprehension.
My point with telling that here is because Dr Blechman and Alina helped keep my anxiety to a true minimum.

I could not be happier with my experience with Dr. Blechman. From the first day I went in for my consultation, I felt that I was taken care of; he was informative without being condescending, warm, kind and is, very clearly, one of the best plastic surgeons in New York. I am so happy with my Breast Reduction! I am much more comfortable and have experienced less back pain, shoulder pain and headaches. I'm not a tiny person, and he reconstructed my breasts in perfect proportion to the rest of my body. The staff, especially the rockstar office manager Alina, was so very helpful in terms of navigating the insurance system; I was in network and the office handled the paper work and red tape quickly and efficiently! Not to mention my schedule is insane and inconsistent and Alina was very accommodating and understanding if I had to reschedule. I would recommend Dr. Blechman to any of my friends without hesitation. 10/10 would let him cut off my boobs again.

Dr. B spent time with me and answered all of my questions. Not only did he seem very knowledgeable, but his "bedside manner" was also really great. Really nice guy. The office is also quite nice, clean, new and not run down like so many other offices I have seen in NYC. While I never want to go to the doctor, I would gladly go back to Dr. B if I had a reason to. Wish more doctors were like him.

I saw Dr. Blechman for a Mohs repair procedure on my face. During the initial consultation he made me feel at ease, despite my nerves. He was very thorough in his explanation of the procedure. When I returned for the procedure itself, he made me feel very comfortable and was so kind. He even called me the next day to make sure I was doing okay. I have never had a doctor do that and it only shows how committed and caring he is. When I had post-op questions, he responded the same day via phone or email.
Dr. Blechman described himself as a "perfectionist" and it truly shows in his kindness, professionalism, commitment to his patients, and the impressive and skilled work he does. I would definitely recommend him.

Our daughter took a fall at the playground and cut her chin pretty badly. Dr. Blechman made time to see her immediately and did a beautiful job "putting her back together." He followed up to check on her healing progress, and was readily available when we had questions. Not only did he do excellent work, but he was very kind when dealing with my daughter and patient with my many questions. We couldn't recommend him more highly.

I am so happy I found Dr. Blechman on ZocDoc. I was looking around for a plastic surgeon for about a week and none of them worked out for me. I arrived early for my appointment and didn't have to wait long. The doctor was very nice and warm as well as the rest of the office staff. This place is clean and welcoming. If I ever need to consult with a plastic surgeon again I will surely go back to Dr. Blechman.

Excellent! Thoroughly knowledgable, exceptionally competent - a young surgeon at the top of his game. We feel very fortunate that Dr. Blechman was on call at Lennox Hill Emergency(downtown) that night to repair our daughter's badly damaged lip. At 2am on Sunday morning, I feared there was little chance we'd have access to a surgeon of Dr. Blechman's caliber. We got lucky; he was on-call, and today's follow-up 5 days later confirms our gratitude. She may well have had a huge, ugly scar, but it looks like his repair will allow her realize the very best outcome we could have hoped for with minimal scaring.
