Dr. Keith Lopatka earned his Doctor of Medicine from Loyola University Chicago. He completed his internship and residency in Dermatology at the University of Illinois, Chicago. Dr. Lopatka has special interests in cosmetic, surgical, medical, and pediatric dermatology, with unique experience in managing skin of color. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and an affiliate member of the American Society for Mohs Surgery.

didn't really listen to what i was telling him. quick in and out and said surgical removal possible of cyst which he would not do and refer to their plastic surgeon for that procedure. really no empathy; kind of cold in manner and why can't he perform the procedure, really!

The office staff was unwelcoming. The girl at the window made no eye contact with me as she thrust the clipboard in my direction. Once in the treatment room the nurse practitioner that reviewed my paperwork was better. Dr.Lopatka appeared rushed which wasn’t really the problem, it was that his initial response to my concern was extremely dismissive and a “ why are you wasting my time” attitude. He did get better once I started asking questions. My total interaction time with him was 15 minutes.

Dr. Lopatka could not be bothered with me! There is no chair in the office for the doc, he and his nurse stand over you (giving the impression he's ready to do a runner).......and low and behold......HE DID!! Even though I read (on his profile) that he deals with warts, ulcerated skin lesions, and debridement, he suddenly had amnesia. I think he really only wants to tend to beauty treatments! Never again! I thought this man was a Dermatologist!
