Kelli was first introduced to inpatient mental health care at a VA Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois where she quickly developed a passion for serving our veterans. It was at this point she began a personal mission to address the stigma associated with mental health and ensure that individuals become empowered through education and mindfulness while ensuring access to high quality mental health care. She has experience in serving clients with PTSD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, personality disorders, substance use disorders, and dual diagnosis. Kelli observes DSM-5 criteria to optimize client diagnoses, monitoring symptoms, and managing medication administration. She provides comprehensive client education geared toward improving self-awareness, streamlining identification of medication options, effectiveness and potential adverse reactions, prognosis of mental health disorders, and treatment plan goals and outcomes. She embraces a holistic approach and strives to provide compassionate care that is tailored to the individual.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

After you request your appointment, you will be sent an invite link for Brightside Health. You will need to enter your insurance and payment information to confirm your appointment.During your initial consultation we will craft a treatment plan personalized to your needs, and schedule follow-up appointments as needed. You will also be able message me directly at anytime via the messaging section of your Brightside Health portal - a tool where will also track your progress, access resources, and see your treatment plan details.*Please note: If you are looking for ADHD care, I do not prescribe controlled medications like Adderall or Ritalin. However, we can support you with therapy and other medications commonly used in ADHD treatment, such as Strattera and Intuniv.*
