The primary role of a health care provider is to deliver the utmost quality care, education, and to be readily available as a valuable resource to the patient. It is always important to not only treat the physical well-being of a patient but also their mind, body, and spirit.
I earned my Bachelor's degree from Valdosta State University and hold a Master's in Family Nursing from the University of South Florida. Originally from the State of Maine, I moved to Florida in 2002. My passion in life is to travel and experience as much of the world as I can. I enjoy anything involving water, especially fishing. I currently belong to a local sailing club where I am part of a team competing in races.
My passion is not only providing quality care but also educating the patient. I believe patients need to be aware of the importance of routine checkups and to understand the processes of any chronic conditions they may have. I encourage patients to be proactive in their general health and to be their own self-advocate. Discussing medications, potential side effects, and possible interactions is also important, as these details are often missed.

I booked this because i am getting ready to go on an overseas trip and was having what seemed like nerve pain from possibly a shingles episode. My primary GP not available that fast so i was hoping someone could see me and prescribe something like Gabapentin for the nerve pain. That did not happen and she said i need to see my GP. So i had hoped this would be a beneficial appt service but it really didn't help me other than the obvious of take Ibuprofen and use a topical lotion or something.

It took ten minutes. It felt rough. It felt a little like I was being patronized for my concerns. I don't just have laryngitis and was very clear regarding the background. Not many people deal with after flu effects for 2 months. I don't think a thorough assessment was done, and I feel that I wasted ten minutes and some cash to be told go to my pharmacy and take OTC and cough suppressant. Won't be doing this again.

This provider was grouchy from the start. She even got short with me and raised her voice when I questioned her treatment of me. I was not told before my appointment that she couldn't give me asthma meds without being seen physically. Then the meds she did send in was after they closed and she refused to wait until the next day when they opened so I hor nothing but a nill from the visit. I will not be using zocdoc in the future for this reason.

My appointment lasted 4 minutes because I was not interested in working with her. To get adhd medicine, even with prior diagnosis/history, the practice wanted to do blood work and all the stuff your primary care doctor does and it will take multiple visits. I asked her a question and she refused to answer unless I scheduled another appointment.

Very brief because I left the zoom meeting. There was an issue with the audio and instead of acting like an actual professional this girl was rude so I cut the visit short and I won't be going back or booking with any other provider. Done with modern medicine and white coats acting superior. ??
