Kelly is a Los Angeles native who holds a Bachelor’s in marketing, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Saint Mary’s University, and a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Ohio University. Her nursing career began with the Pediatric RN residency program at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), where she went on to work in post-operative care and acute inpatient care. She transitioned to CHLA’s outpatient behavioral health clinic post-pandemic, spending more than 4 years working closely with patients and families during an ever-growing mental health crisis. She has experience with numerous developmental, behavioral, and psychiatric disorders such as ADHD, anxiety, and depression. Kelly’s psychiatric training was across the lifespan, including her passion in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Department of Mental Health outpatient clinic at CHLA. She believes all youth deserve the opportunity to improve their mental health and thrive as their best and most authentic selves. In her free time, Kelly enjoys hiking, traveling, coffee, and spending time with her fluffy white husky, Mochi.
