About Dr. Kelly O'Brien
Dr. O'Brien is board certified in Internal Medicine and practices Adult Internal Medicine and Preventative Medicine at the Medical Clinic of Houston near the Texas Medical Center. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas, San Antonio, and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas, Houston. Dr. O'Brien is proud to provide high-quality, comprehensive, and convenient primary care. She treats common conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol, and obesity, with a strong focus on preventive medicine. This includes annual physical exams, bone density testing, cardiac and cancer screenings, as well as annual physicals that require an eight-hour fast.
The clinic is located minutes from the Medical Center but is housed in its own facility with convenient self and valet parking. It offers a full complement of diagnostic services, including X-ray, CT, MRI, bone density scans, 3D mammograms, and complete cardiac testing, with in-room blood drawing for on-site laboratory testing. Should a patient need specialist consultation, additional specialists available at the clinic include Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Rheumatology, and Hematology/Oncology.
