What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with clients across the lifespan and have extensive experience of treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, substance use disorders, and personality disorders. Whether you're seeking help with mood instability, trauma, addiction recovery, or chronic stress, I tailor each treatment plan to meet your clinical needs and life circumstances. My practice integrates psychopharmacology with supportive approach, lifestyle modification, and complementary strategies including mindfulness-based tools. I work closely with therapists, primary care providers, and when appropriate family members to ensure holistic and coordinated care.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session typically lasts 60–90 minutes. During this time, I will conduct a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. This process helps identify any underlying diagnoses, co-occurring conditions, or environmental factors impacting your mental wellness. The goal of this first encounter is not just to assign a diagnosis, but to understand your story. We will also explore your expectations, and what you hope to achieve from treatment. Once we've established diagnostic clarity, I will recommend a personalized treatment plan. This may involve medication management, brief psychotherapy, lab testing (when medically indicated), lifestyle modifications, and integration of safe dietary or herbal supplements. I’ll explain the benefits and risks of each option and involve you in every step of the decision-making process. My goal is to empower clients to take an active role in their recovery while providing the support and resources they need to thrive.

Kelly was beyond amazing I would recommend her to anyone. She talked me through everything perfectly and made me feel welcome and comfortable.
Ms. Plange was a pleasure to work with. She clearly explained everything and gave a lot of recommendations on how to holistically treat my conditions along side using medication. She was very personable and am excited to continue treatment with her.
I really enjoy my time speaking to Kelly. I’m someone who holds a lot inside and so finally taking the time to speak to someone about my anxiety and depression that I didn’t even realize I had at first does me wonders. She goes over my prescriptions so I know what I’m taking and exactly how much I should be taking and gave me helpful exercises for my anxiety!
I had a wonderful experience with Kelly Plange, she was welcoming and very understanding. I appreciated how thorough she was and how she took the time to explain everything clearly which made the first visit very approachable. Ms. Plange provided me with exercises to work on before our next appointment and made me hopeful for my continuation of care. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking thorough, professional mental health care.
I’m new to this and quite frankly was a bit nervous. Kelly made me feel very comfortable. She was kind, thoughtful and she was thorough in explaining things and my personal path forward. I would highly recommend.
