OR
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) providing telehealth psychiatric care for adults throughout Oregon. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, stress-related concerns, burnout, and life transitions. My approach combines evidence-based medication management with supportive, meaningful clinical conversations that help patients better understand their symptoms, treatment options, and overall mental health. I believe effective treatment is most successful when patients are informed, actively involved in decision-making, and supported in making sustainable changes both inside and outside of the medication regimen. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to move toward greater emotional well-being and improved daily functioning.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My practice is focused primarily on medication management for adults experiencing common outpatient mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, and adjustment-related difficulties. While medication can be an important tool, I view it as one part of a comprehensive approach that may also include therapy, lifestyle changes, stress management, healthy routines, and personal growth. I value collaboration and shared decision-making. Rather than simply prescribing medication, I take time to explain diagnoses, discuss treatment options, answer questions, and help patients understand the reasoning behind recommendations. My practice is best suited for individuals seeking outpatient psychiatric care who are motivated to actively participate in their treatment and work toward meaningful, lasting improvement.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The initial appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. During this visit, we review your current symptoms, mental health history, medical history, medications, lifestyle factors, and treatment goals. Together, we develop an individualized plan that may include medication recommendations, education, behavioral strategies, and referrals when appropriate. Follow-up visits focus on monitoring progress, assessing medication effectiveness and side effects, adjusting treatment when needed, and addressing any new concerns that arise. Throughout treatment, I aim to provide clear guidance, practical support, and ongoing collaboration so patients feel confident and informed about their care. My goal is for patients to leave each appointment with a better understanding of their mental health and a clear plan for moving forward.
