Kelsey Hrenko, PA-C, has been working in family medicine since 2016. She is dedicated to providing patient-focused, high-quality care by establishing a collaborative patient-provider relationship.
Kelsey has experience providing comprehensive primary care for both pediatric and adult patients. She has an interest in managing women's health and is passionate about preventive health and chronic disease management.
Kelsey earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Chatham University in 2011. She then completed a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Hofstra University in 2015.

I wouldn’t recommend this provider. I made an appointment with a doctor and was pushed off to a PA. I went in with pain in my side and was diagnosed with acid reflux. I took medications prescribed by this provider with severe side effects including increased pain and nausea. I think it was a get out of my office quickly with a bandaid situation.

I moved here from out of state and needed to establish care with a new provider. The entire staff was fantastic. Everyone was so friendly, and there was literally no wait for anything. Kelsey was super attentive and listened to everything i had to say and then referred me to specialists for things she did not specialize in. I am so happy to have found a new primary that i like!!!

I came here seeking a second opinion on my health concerns, and Sonia was very clear and helpful, providing professional guidance. Afterwards, I met my doctor, Kelsey, who is fantastic. She determined the cause of my condition and did an excellent job by contacting the radiologist who treated me in the ER. I will certainly continue with her for my future physical check-ups.

She was judgey and rude. It didn’t feel like it was an honest and open space. Wouldn’t recommend. I was letting her know my history because it was my first appointment and she literally said to me “I’m trying to figure it out and you just keep adding more major things” as if my information was a burden to her. And when I let her know I use weed to HELP my diagnosed anxiety she told me it could actually be making my anxiety worse (which is true for some people) but not me and I know myself so it just seemed kind of tone deaf.

**Disappointing Experience with Lack of Support**
I initially requested to see the MD but was informed that I would first need to see a Nurse Practitioner, which I was completely fine with.
Prior to my appointment, I communicated that I needed to set up a new prescription order since I was transitioning to a "new doctor." I've been on this medication for years without issue. However, during my visit, the Nurse Practitioner informed me that they do not fill my prescriptions. This was baffling, as I've never encountered this problem before with any provider.
Throughout the appointment, I frequently felt dismissed, with responses like “no, we don’t do that.” I was offered a referral to another doctor or clinic but was then told to simply Google and find another clinic for a blood test I needed. This lack of assistance left me feeling unsupported and frustrated.
I hope this feedback encourages improvements in how they handle patient care and communication.

From my first phone call to this office until the end of my first appointment, I cannot say enough about this practice. The office staff has been incredibly friendly. Communication has been outstanding. Kelsey is wonderful. Very thorough. Wonderful bedside manner, good listener.
