“This was my first experience with a dermatologist office. Without much expectation, I found the staff to be warm and friendly. They were efficient and helpful at the front desk. The staff was very attentive to the patients waiting in the waiting room. I was welcomed in my exam room by a bright and enthusiastic assistant. She was easy to talk to and communicated well. She was so knowledgeable and understood everything I was explaining regarding my concerns. She was able to provide the PA with this information and it made my appointment go so smoothly. They both worked well together and made me feel so comfortable. I would recommend this experience to family and friends. Thank you for the work that you do! ”

About Kendall Syms
Kendall Syms completed her undergraduate education in Neuroscience at the Ohio State University before attending the Physician Assistant program at Bethel University in Paris, Tennessee.
She furthered her career and gained experience as a physician assistant in an emergency department, where she enjoyed treating a diverse range of patients and developed a strong passion for dermatologic care. Appt was Friday and the consultation felt really positive. Once recommendation for medication was discussed thats when I was told my insurance would have to pre authorization prescription. If I was told this at the initial check in when my insurance was being processed along with the office visit price would have opted out. Mainly because then I would have asked how long would a pre authorization take. It’s been a week and my pending skin solution is on hold. I wasn’t aware I would not be able to pick prescription up same day. Feels like a wasted appt.
