About Dr. Kenneth Meisler
Kenneth Meisler, DPM, is a podiatrist bringing more than four decades of experience in foot and ankle care to Kenneth Meisler, DPM, PLLC & Associates. The highly regarded physician serves people of all ages living in and around the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City. Dr. Meisler began his career pursuits at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City, earning his medical degree. Before entering private practice, Dr. Meisler completed a podiatry residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Around the same time, Dr. Meisler and his wife Laurie developed an interest in running marathons. That inspired him to join The Preventive and Sports Medicine Center, founded by Norbert Sander, MD, a sports medicine specialist. Together, Dr. Meisler and Dr. Sander treated thousands of athletes, addressing common foot problems like plantar fasciitis, bone spurs, and fractures. Dr. Meisler then launched his own practice, which he built through word of mouth and stellar reviews. It's now one of the largest and most respected podiatry practices in New York City, treating a wide range of podiatric concerns. When he isn't meeting with patients or developing treatments, Dr. Meisler serves in several other capacities. He's co- chief, division of podiatry at New York Downtown Hospital, and he holds staff privileges there as well as at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center and Mount Sinai Medical Center (all in New York City). Outside of work, Dr. Meisler enjoys running marathons, playing tennis, and golfing. He's also an avid horseback rider who loves the great outdoors. Dr. Meisler welcomes anyone experiencing foot or ankle problems to his self-titled practice today.

The doctor is really expert in his knowledge. The only concern I had was at my appointment there were too many interruptions by staff and other physicians during my exam and treatment. As a result, I was confused about some of the doctor's instructions for me and I had questions i forgot to ask during the appointment. But, overall, I was impressed with Dr. Meisler's expertise and care.

Front office staff seemed unorganized and not super efficient, but Dr. Meisler was fantastic. (and well worth the wait!!)
I felt well taken care of by Dr. Meisler. Excellent bedside manner, smart, thoughtful and solved my problem effectively. Would VERY highly recommend.

Don’t go anywhere else! I have seen a few podiatrists for my foot pain. Dr. Meisler actually listened, ordered needed tests and helped me start feeling better right way. Amazing care.

Making appointments by phone is very difficult. Long waits. Voicemail box full. Dr who saw me was helpful with diagnosis and arranged for ultrasound which was done very fast and efficiently but I did not hear back from the Dr for 3 days. Maybe Covid is creating problems for this office and I do think their medical knowledge is fine—but communication is a problem.
