Doctors these days are very siloed. He focuses LITERALLY on skin nothing else. So it was a punt to the next doctor aka his PCP who is then going to punt us again. Waste of our time and he will get compensated for a "skin check".

I went to this doctor to have a growth removed from my face, on the surface. He seemed knowledgeable and used a freezing technique to remove it. He said they should just fall off. He did not tell me that it may take several visits to remove the growth. The service did not fix the problem, they did not fall off as he said and now they want another full price visit to do a repeat treatment. I was not told in advance that it may take more than one. Paying double for the same service is angering at best.

Dr. Handfield looked at my chief complaint and took a biopsy. I was asked if I wanted a full body examination for possible lesions and I accepted. A second lesion was found and a biopsy taken. I would definitely recommend that office, very professional and the procedures were painless. I arrived early and they took me right away.

Went to this office/provider as new patient for skin issue I’m dealing with. He has scheduled some tests to try and get some answers for me. Office staff were all professional and friendly. Office was busy but patients weren’t just hanging out in waiting room, their appointments seemed to be on scheduled time. I booked through a scheduling site and was contacted promptly for insurance and medical history questionnaire.

I was seen right away. There wasn't a backlog of people waiting. The Dr came in fairly quick and recoginized my skin irritation right away and then went over the options for taking care of it. Explained them clearly, went over each treatment option, the possible side effects of each and likely outcome. Even though the whole appt only took a short amount of time, I didnt get the impression it was because he was trying to get me in and out and on to the next patient. It was simpy because my affliction was easily diagnosed and there was no need to do anything else. Overall, a very positive experience.

Dr Handfield was easy to talk to. He listened and observed. He also gave me feedback (in a nice way) about what I was using on the area of the bee sting that was irritated. He perscribed a different medicated cream to heal the infected area.

Great dermatologist. Knowledgeable, educates patient and suggests natural alternatives when possible. Very quick to get an appointment and unlike most dermatology offices today, you are seen by the MD not nurse practitioner, which is most appreciated. Excellent, friendly support staff & clean office.
