Let me start by saying I am no fan of going to the doctor. I’ve always been anxious during my visits, lately resulting in high blood pressure readings. Walking to the room where Dr. Kenya would see me, I noticed an unknown sense of calmness as I observed my surroundings. During the visit, I felt heard and cared for by her. I opened up to her like I have never before with other doctors. By the end of the visit, I felt understood and knew for the first time in my adult life, I wanted a primary care physician.

My experience was not great. It was unprofessional, and I never received my test results and was not prescribed what I needed. The medication that was prescribed was not understood b the pharmacy. They said they left a message with the provider, but she called a left a voice message stating she sent the prescription. However, that is not what the pharmacy asked. The pharmacy needed clear instructions on the medication.

She listened and even went on to her team for a second opinion and reassured me that the issue was exactly what it was. Overall this was a great appointment/visit. Only downside was the wait after I was escorted back to see the PA. Zocdoc triple booked the PA I was seeing during my scheduled appointment which resulted in a long delay before my actual exam began. This was not the PA's fault, and the office was extremely apologetic and consciousness about following up with me periodically to ensure me that the PA was making progress towards seeing me. However, Zocdoc needs to work on improving this function of their app to minimize multiple bookings for appt time slots.

I just had a great experience with Kenya Tucker, the PA, and Crystal, the nurse, the office. Kenya was amazing—she was friendly, easy to talk to, and genuinely took the time to listen to what I had to say. She explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way.
Crystal was also fantastic. She was so kind and attentive, making sure I felt at ease throughout my visit. You can tell they both really care about their patients. Together, Kenya and Crystal made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth. I definitely recommend seeing them if you get the chance!
