Dr. Kenyatta Mireku is a graduate of Georgia State University with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. She received her Medical Degree from the Medical College of Georgia, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She went on to complete her residency in dermatology at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she served as chief resident. Dr. Mireku is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, The American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the Women’s Dermatological Society. Her professional interests include medical and surgical dermatology.

Nothing stood out great about this office. Receptionist barely acknowledged me at check in and check out. We were late being called back just to wait again for the doctor once we were inside. After more waiting, the doctor used the excuse of my child using the restroom so he missed his chance for her. If you make a child wait more than 20 minutes, he will need to use the restroom. Communication from the doctor and assistance were very bland and needless. I definitely do not recommend anyone coming here. After our follow up, we will seek professional care elsewhere.

Excellent service from the front receptionist and it carries through all the way to the back office. I highly recommend Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetics to all. The location was very convenient and I had little to no wait time for my visit. Make notes for all questions in advance, because the service is so fast, you may forget any additional questions. Job well done.

She took the time to listen, the appointment was on time, and I never felt rushed. The only small downside was that my insurance wasn’t covered by the office, but other than that, everything was great. I would definitely recommend this practice to others.

Dr. Mireku's office staff were very pleasant, courteous, respectful, efficient and professional. When I entered the office everything was neat and clean. I was seen immediately after completing a brief set of paperwork. Dr. Mireku and her assistant were extremely pleasant, respectful and knowledgeable. All of my questions and concerns were addressed in an appropriate manner.
I highly recommend this doctor and this office for other patients.
