Dietitian
MN
I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), licensed in both Minnesota (LD) and Wisconsin (CD). I earned my education and completed my Internship in Dietetics at Viterbo University. Over the past couple of years, I have specialized in eating disorders and disordered eating, working with teens and adults. I also have years of experience supporting people living with diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, and food allergies or intolerances. Additionally, I’ve worked with individuals who are considering or have had bariatric surgery. I’m currently working towards becoming a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and practice as a non-diet dietitian, guided by the Health At Every Size (HAES) and Intuitive Eating (IE) philosophies. I believe that bodies come in all different shapes and sizes, and all sizes are welcome in this world! Making peace with food and your body is an important part of one’s journey. I’m passionate about nutrition and thrive on the relationships I build with my clients. My goal is to help each client work toward food freedom and body liberation, freeing up mental space and energy to be better spent on family, friends, and personal interests. Outside of work, I find joy in being a mother of three, a wife, a daughter, a sister, and a good friend. I enjoy warm weather the most, spending time outdoors camping, hiking, or leisurely biking, though I would miss the snow for snowboarding and hot lattes! I also enjoy local food, traveling, games, home improvement projects, and seasonal cooking and baking when time allows. What to expect: Most clients benefit from meeting weekly or biweekly to start. I offer virtual sessions. The first session is 90 minutes to allow you time to share your whole story, since your relationship with food and your body began at birth! Follow-up sessions typically last 60 minutes. Total treatment length varies with each client.
