I hold a Master's in Family Health Nursing from Rockhurst University and a Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from West Coast University, equipping me to provide comprehensive and compassionate care tailored to your needs.
What should a new client know about working with you?

Looking for a new provider can be especially difficult and too often times it ends up going wrong. You have made the decision to find help, please let me make this as easy for you as possible. I am here to listen, I am here to learn, I am here to grow. I want to be that person that you turn to in your darkest hour as well as in your lightest. Let me be that rock that holds you together so that you can be your best self. Let us navigate through your journey together. One step at a time, one day at a time, one session at a time.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Our first session will be aimed at establishing trust and comfort. It is critical to build a stable foundation in which we grow from. We will dive into you current life and concerns as well as some from your past. Everything will be completely individualized and prioritized for your comfort. It is important to touch on all aspects of your life to get a deep and personal understanding as to who you are and where you are coming from. Without this it is challenging to really get to know you and adapt your care towards what will optimize your outcomes.
I will not push medications on you, however, I will advocate for you when I feel that it is important. The worst thing that I could do as a provider is not lay out all of your options or educate you. This is your life, and who you choose as a provider, as well as what you put into your body is your choice, and yours alone. I hope that I can be there to watch you flourish.

Words cannot compare! I have been involved in therapy services since I was a kid. Now, as an adult, I have such difficulty finding a provider to look at me let alone smile. Kerrie has helped with not only me but also my mom. Language barrier aside, she always make the sessions comfortable, light, and even funny.
