Getting to know Kevin Hamilton
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a Master's in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the State University of New York, Stony Brook, my experience includes multiple behavioral health outpatient clinics as well as substance abuse clinics throughout New York City. Through these experiences, I have always felt a calling to assist individuals with mental health issues.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Our Wellness Project does not provide any controlled-substance prescriptions or medication refills until the second visit.
My training crosses a lifespan while utilizing Evidence-Based Practice. Trained in cognitive behavioral therapy and utilized various treatment modalities to treat each client adequately. I am capable of helping individuals who are experiencing difficulties with the ability to function due to the inability to manage their emotions physically.
