My wife and I are new patients to IMED. We were so impressed with Dr. Horton. He cares about his patients. He took his time with us and we didn't feel rushed like other Dr. offices. Glad to be scheduled.

Dr. Horton graduated magna cum laude from University of Texas at Austin in Austin, Texas, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He received his medical degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine in Lubbock, Texas. Dr. Horton completed both his internship and his residency at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.
Since that time he has practiced in Shreveport, Louisiana, and throughout Texas. Dr. Horton has been with iMED since 2000.
As a Certified Physician Investigator, Dr. Horton leads the clinical trials program at iMED where industry-sponsored Phase II, III and IV trials contribute to advances in treatment of diseases like type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and osteoarthritis.
Dr. Horton is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
