He went on to complete his fellowship in Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic and Gastrointestinal Minimally Invasive Surgery. At Providence Cancer Center at Providence Portland Medical Center. Dr. Potter was recognized in Phoenix Magazine’s Top Doc for Bariatrics Surgery three years in a row. He has a decorated award wall filled with honors of outstanding clinical performance, highest test scores, intern of the year and outstanding resident of the year. He is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, Americas Hepato-Pancreato Biliary Association, Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract and American College of Surgeons. Dr. Potter believes that the decisions made on Patient’s care is best done in a team. This means everyone is on the same page in terms of process and the anticipated outcomes. “I listen to my patients. We work on a care plan that is best for them, that meets their expectations.
