About Dr. Kevin Wilkins
Dr. Wilkins received his B.A. in History from The Catholic University of America. Subsequently he taught history in high school before attending Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, IA. Graduating in 2010 he then interned at Back to Health for 6 months before moving to a very busy practice in Delaware. He returned to Back to Health in 2021. Dr. Wilkins is certified in Applied Kinesiology, Pettibon posture correction, and can use “hands on” chiropractic or instrument assisted adjusting.

“My journey in chiropractic began after a football injury to my head and neck when I was 10 years old. What began as a ‘stiff neck’ grew every year into a worsening syndrome of constant, daily headaches and neck pain. Since my medical doctors couldn’t ‘see anything’ wrong on x-rays and MRIs, they had no treatment. Physical therapy did not help. By the time I graduated from high school, I could no longer turn my head to the left. My parents, hoping to find me relief, turned to chiropractic.
After the first visit, my headaches and neck pain were significantly better. Since that day, I have used chiropractic on a regular basis and can personally attest to how powerful; and important it is to my family and the patients we treat.
Although I am very busy in practice these days, I still have time for my wife, 7 daughters and son. Yes, you read correctly! 8 kids! I am also a singer-songwriter and enjoy writing and recording music.”

I went to this chiropractor on July 31, 2025, and paid after my visit. After my insurance processed the claim they said I only owe a fraction of what was billed.
When I contacted the office with my EOB and asked for a refund of the difference, the office refused and tried to justify it with a ABN form that only applies to Medicare, not private insurance, which I have. Both my insurance and HSA confirmed that I was overcharged.
When I tried to resolve this professionally with the doctor directly he was extremely unprofessional telling me that he has “bills, machines, and employees to pay,” as if that justified keeping money that my insurance says I don’t owe. It was disappointing to be treated that way after trying to handle this respectfully and with full documentation. This was not only unprofessional but also deeply unethical.
I strongly caution anyone considering this office to verify all charges with your insurance and be very careful before signing any paperwork they give you.

I limped into the office in pain. The receptionist is amazing! She’s very friendly. The doctor is very personable. He listened intently to my symptoms and concerns. He worked his “magic” and I left, pain free! Overall a great experience!

Was able to book a next-day appointment following a holiday. Went in with terrible neck pain that I had been suffering with for nearly a week. Walked out feeling a bit better, but improved by 80-90% within the next 8 hours. First experience with chiropractics and I'm definitely impressed! Everyone was very friendly and the appointment was quick and efficient.
