Getting to know Dr. Kevyn Tracy
My name is Dr. Kevyn Tracy, DNP, PMHNP-BC, and I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and founder of SpirituallyFIT Psychiatry in New York. Originally from Atlanta, GA, I earned my Doctorate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Columbia University. Did you know that only 2% of psychiatrists are Black? Well, I’m here to change that! My goal is to help individuals of color with their mental health by taking a holistic approach and utilizing medication. I believe medications aren’t the cure for psychiatric diagnoses, but they can support us on this journey toward healing. The main diagnoses I focus on are anxiety, trauma, ADHD, depression, perinatal mental illness, and autism spectrum disorders. I see both pediatric and adult patients and accept Aetna, Optum, and Cigna insurance. I look forward to working with you soon on your journey to healing!
