About Dr. Khaled El-Hoshy
Dr. El-Hoshy earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Cairo University Faculty of Medicine. He completed his Residency in Dermatology at Wayne State University and pursued a Fellowship in Dermatological Surgery at Duke University Medical Center, where he also completed a one-year clinical research fellowship. He achieved Board Certification by the American Board of Dermatology in 1996.
Since 1996, Dr. El-Hoshy has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine, Department of Dermatology and Syphilology.
He is a fellow member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Mohs Surgery, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Additionally, he is a member of the Michigan State Medical Society and Wayne County Medical Society.
Dr. El-Hoshy specializes in skin rejuvenation and has extensive experience with various cosmetic procedures, including the Featherlift, Mesotherapy, Chemical Peeling, Botox, Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse, Collagen, Laser Procedures, Liposuction, Hair Transplants, and Sclerotherapy. He is Mohs surgery-trained for the treatment of skin cancers.
He is among a select group of U.S. physicians with special expertise in advanced Botox techniques for the neck and perioral areas. Internationally recognized as an instructor, Dr. El-Hoshy teaches Botox, Restylane, and Juvederm injection techniques to both beginner and advanced injectors.
To stay current with advances in cosmetic and laser surgery worldwide, Dr. El-Hoshy attends at least one medical meeting annually in Europe, in addition to one or two meetings in the United States.
