Dr. Hararah completed his residency in Family Medicine at NYU Langone in New York City. He went on to complete a fellowship in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine/Wound Care at SUNY Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, New York. Dr. Hararah also pursued further training in Bariatric Medicine and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Dr. Hararah is a firm believer in partnering with his patients and the biopsychosocial approach to medicine. This essentially means that our patients aren’t just a disease or organ system, but a complicated human being with a rich, extensive life. Every aspect of his patients lives has an impact on their healthcare and that is something that needs to be addressed. As a triple board certified physician, Dr. Hararah can help you with any general primary care needs, weight loss and complex wound care. He is also an expert in dive medicine and clinical hyperbarics and all it’s applications, having published multiple papers during his fellowship. Although Dr. Hararah has extensive training, he does admit he is only human and does not know everything. As such he is a physician that will always listen to your concerns and work to find the right diagnosis and optimal care plan for you. Your healthcare and well being is his top priority. In his spare time Dr. Hararah enjoys playing tennis, golfing (although terribly) and spending time with his family and friends. As the owner of Blackstone Medical, Dr. Hararah is fully committed to your health and looks forward to being able to help you any way he can.
