She went on to receive her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia. She began her career in neurosurgery and regenerative/functional medicine before transitioning into dermatology and aesthetic medicine fields that have become her true professional focus.
Committed to excellence, Khalila completed the prestigious Diplomate Fellowship through the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates in 2020. She has trained alongside respected dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and aesthetic injectors and holds additional certifications in advanced injection techniques, laser therapies, and dermoscopy. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Medical Science degree, concentrating on clinical research related to dermatologic conditions affecting skin of color.

The staff were cordial and kind. The doctor was prompt as well. Overall i felt like an inconvenience to the doctor and didnt feel like it was a personal experience. I had a question about their intake form and she made it clear she has no idea what the intake form is and never sees it. So I don't understand why I even filled it out. She asked me the same questions the assistant did and forgot my answers throughout the exam. We did a full body exam (at my request) and she did not give any education/prompt me for approaching and touching me. I have no idea what and when to do a full body exam so i asked if it was recommended and they left it up to me. Overall it was a fine experience but nothing that made me feel inclined to return.

I was seen at my actual appointment time, the staff was all very friendly, and let me know what was happening at every step of my appointment. It was my first time seeing a derm or getting a skin check and everyone in the room made sure I was comfortable with the process.

I felt well-informed and comfortable throughout the process, and I’m completely satisfied with the care I received! I would highly recommend seeing her—especially for patients of color—not only because she makes you feel seen, heard, and at ease, but also because she understands our skin types and the specific conditions that affect them.
