I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Mindful Minds Psychiatry. I am passionate about helping individuals achieve emotional wellness, clarity, and personal growth through compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care.
I earned my Master’s degree in Nursing and have experience working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and other mental health challenges. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
My approach to care is collaborative, supportive, and holistic. I believe mental health treatment works best when patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care. Through Mindful Minds Psychiatry, I provide convenient and confidential telehealth services, allowing patients to receive high-quality psychiatric care from the comfort and privacy of their homes.

My treatment approach may include medication management, supportive therapy, psychoeducation, and lifestyle recommendations that support overall mental wellness. I believe in collaborative care, meaning I will explain treatment options clearly and involve you in decisions about your care.
I also emphasize consistency and accountability in treatment. Follow-up appointments are important to monitor progress, adjust medications if needed, and ensure you are receiving the best possible outcomes.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
My process begins with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation during the initial appointment. During this visit, I take time to understand your current symptoms, mental health history, medical background, lifestyle factors, and any previous treatments you may have received. This thorough assessment helps me develop an accurate diagnosis and a personalized treatment plan.
We will discuss your concerns in detail, review any past medications or therapies, and explore what has or has not worked for you in the past. If appropriate, I may recommend medication management, supportive therapy, lifestyle modifications, or additional assessments to better understand your needs.
I practice a collaborative approach, meaning I involve patients in treatment decisions and make sure you understand the purpose, benefits, and possible side effects of any medication that may be recommended.
Follow-up appointments are scheduled regularly to monitor progress, assess symptom improvement, and adjust treatment when necessary. My goal is to provide ongoing support and ensure that your treatment plan continues to meet your needs over time.
While my primary focus is psychiatric evaluation and medication management, I also incorporate supportive therapy and guidance to help patients develop coping strategies and improve overall mental wellness.

Mindful Minds Psychiatry accepts several major insurance plans. However, coverage and benefits vary depending on your individual insurance policy. Patients are responsible for understanding their insurance benefits, including deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, and any out-of-pocket costs associated with their visit.
A valid debit or credit card is required to be kept securely on file prior to appointments. Any copays, deductibles, or patient-responsible balances will be charged to the card on file in accordance with your insurance benefits and office policies.
If your insurance requires you to meet a deductible before coverage begins, you may be responsible for the full contracted visit rate until the deductible is met. Patients will be notified of estimated costs whenever possible.
For patients without insurance or those who prefer not to use insurance, self-pay options may be available.
Our goal is to maintain transparency regarding billing while ensuring that patients can focus on receiving the care they need.

What I appreciated the most was how thoroughly she explained each medication she was prescribing and the reason behind it.
